Discover our Protea Burgundy Dress.
With a maxi cut and a fitted silhouette in elastic silk jersey, the dress combines two fabrics and two languages that masterfully converse. The upper body is crafted from burgundy floral lace with a semi-sheer appearance; featuring a gathered neckline and cap sleeves that frame the shoulders with sophisticated femininity.
On the other hand, the back is completely bare with a deeply cut, rounded backline that reveals the skin, finished at the upper vertex with a small detail of three covered buttons. Additionally, for added comfort and precision, it has an invisible zipper at the lower central vertex of the same back neckline.
The transition between the lace and the skirt occurs in an asymmetrical and diagonal way, where the silk jersey fabric takes over with a horizontal ruched drape that embraces the hips with sculptural precision. This ornamentation culminates at the left hip where the fabric is gathered with a large gold hoop jeweled brooch that acts as a focal point, visually anchoring the piece and elevating its interpretation; allowing the fabric to fall, adding design and movement to the skirt.
The skirt flows from the hips to the hem, culminating the silhouette with the same freedom with which it began. The lace, draping, and open back create a perfect evening piece.
