The Burnt terracotta Orchid Dress is a dress that fuses structure with movement.
The upper body, a strapless sweetheart neckline bustier made of bi-elastic fabric that molds and sculpts the torso with corset-style vertical seams, holds its most seductive secret in the back, with a criss-cross lace-up closure in the style of a historical corset that ties in a bow at the bottom, leaving the skin exposed between the criss-crosses and allowing the volume to be adjusted as desired. This detail ends where the subtle invisible zipper begins, providing comfort. This detail, as functional as it is ornamental, makes the back the most powerful focal point of the piece.
The transition to the skirt occurs through a structured peplum that generates a first level of fullness, simulating a two-piece set. This gives way to a waterfall of ruffled strips in chiffon, light, translucent, and in constant movement that descend in multiple asymmetrical layers to the maxi hem, with a side slit that frees the leg with each step.
The coexistence between the structured bi-elastic fabric of the bodice and the ethereal chiffon of the skirt creates a tension of textures that is the true signature of this piece.
